A new website for Tate

global leader and the world’s largest supplier of raised access flooring

Find out how we supported Tate with a standalone website that reflected their rebrand and showcased their raised access flooring solutions.

Project Outline

Tate, formerly known as Kingspan Access Floors, asked us to create a standalone website that reflects their rebranding efforts and helps establish their own digital identity.

As the data centre market continues to grow, raised access flooring has become a key part of the Kingspan Group’s success. To align with this momentum, the UK and Ireland division rebranded to Tate. This move brought them closer to their international colleagues and unified raised access floor operations under the globally recognised Tate brand. With a strong presence in the USA, Europe and Asia, this rebranding ensures a consistent approach across all markets.

The new website needed to create a smooth, enjoyable experience for users exploring raised access flooring solutions. It also had to highlight Tate’s global reach, technical expertise and dedication to sustainability, all while positioning them as a leader in the commercial construction industry.

Outcomes

We designed, developed and launched tateglobal.com to give Tate an engaging online presence that reinforces their new name and position as a leader in data centre flooring.

The website’s design is centred around user experience, showcasing Tate’s products and services intuitively. The front end features a clean, modern layout and straightforward navigation to help users quickly find what they need. On the back end, we used Expression Engine, an open-source CMS that’s flexible and scalable. By leveraging Expression Engine, the website can handle complex data structures and provides seamless content management, enabling Tate’s team to easily update content and stay in control of their website.

Our team also created all the website content, from SEO-friendly copywriting that captures Tate’s brand voice and improves search rankings to visually compelling multimedia assets like videos, animations and professional photography that highlight Tate’s products, technical expertise and ethos.

We adhered to the Kingspan Group’s strict marketing compliance and auditing standards by implementing a workflow process for content sign-offs. This process, structured around access levels, ensures that the information presented on the website is fully auditable and transparent.

To further enhance functionality, we integrated Salesforce, a leading CRM platform. This ensures smooth connections between the website and Tate’s internal systems, enabling streamlined data collection, better lead management and improved customer engagement. With Salesforce, the website serves not only as a digital showcase for Tate’s products and services but also as a powerful tool for business growth.

As part of the project, we migrated all raised access flooring products and architectural finishes from the Kingspan website to the new Tate site. We added a dedicated downloads section with datasheets, Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs), material passports and specifications, along with case studies and team pages. Everything was organised in a user-friendly format, making it simple for customers to access and download the information they need.

The result is a website that represents Tate as a brand while making it easier for customers to explore their products and services. The site’s clear structure and valuable resources create an informative and engaging experience, strengthening Tate’s market presence and building brand loyalty.
