HDM Solar is one of Yorkshire’s fastest growing companies. Launched in 2022 the business quickly outgrew its original out-of-the-box Shopify e-commerce site and turned to us to create a new Shopify Plus solution that could keep pace with the fast moving market they operate in.

We were briefed to improve both the appearance and performance of the site. We were also tasked with implementing a new social media, SEO and Google Ads strategy.

We redesigned the appearance, rationalised and consolidated the product information and presented the business as the market leader it is forecasting to become. Additional work in improving search performance with the creation of an optimisation strategy coincided with an improved social media and Google Ads campaign which was also implemented and managed by the DW team.

The power of Shopify Plus has been brought to the fore with the integration of several key systems including product syncing to an additional trade only Shopify site and an installer locator.

Bespoke development was required to include features required to help the business perform better, including the hosting of data sheets for the ever expanding range of products and enabling complimentary products to be cross-linked, allowing customers to make logical additions to their cart.
