Learn how we supported Wold View Foods launch their new business venture Grubb by establishing a brand identity, developing a website and designing complimentary product packaging.

Project Outline

Parent company Wold View Foods had exciting plans to develop a new business venture with a B2C focus. Keeping with their established food portfolio, they began creating recipes for a new range of premium frozen pies under new brand Grubb.

In April 2021, Wold View Foods reached out with their new business idea and to tap into our expertise in brand, social media and web development.

Outcomes

Grubb were navigating their market from the very beginning. As a full-service marketing agency, this was an exciting opportunity for us to put our ‘stamp’ on the project and see the true impact of our work from concept to completion through a variety of channels. We also helped them gain grant funding to fully maximise their marketing activities.

We discussed with the client their vision for the brand and longer-term goals to create collateral that was suitable for the needs of the customers now and also longer-term.

The product range launch schedule began with a range of premium frozen pies made with regionally-sourced quality ingredients. The brand and packaging design had to reflect the opulence of the brand vision and premium recipes developed so as a team, we sat down and conceptualised ideas and a creative direction.

We decided to use golds, rich colours, clean fonts and supported with studio quality product photography that accurately represented the exceptional quality of the product inside. Three of the range almost immediately won a prestigious accolade from the British Pie Awards and won ‘British Pie Winners’ which we incorporated onto the packaging. The same considerations were used when we created their in-store POS kits.

We took the responsibility of print management to ensure a seamless experience for Grubb and internally managed any hurdles. Our previous experience and industry connections allowed us to do this efficiently and provide the best standard for our client.

Keeping the theme and colour story in mind, we began creating a website for the brand to showcase their products and upcoming launches. The entirety of the web content was developed in-house and the product photography was achieved with the support of R&R studio. The site has since been successfully launched and is now live at https://grubbfoods.com/

Since the launch of the product, we have continued to provide Grubb with sales support, social media content and PR activities. Following the success of the pie range launch we are looking forward to working with the Grubb team to bring their innovative future plans to fruition.
