Design of a creative digital and printed asset management brochure solution used for training and the introduction of the Ideal Standard bathroom range to showrooms and trade customers.
Ideal Standard’s large everyday product range contains six collections including hundreds of products. It’s an invaluable tool for bathroom professionals and trade showrooms across the UK and in Ireland, who use it as their main point of reference for the Ideal Standard range of bathroom suites, baths, mirrors, cabinets, furniture and bathroom fittings.
Ideal Standard required a way of presenting their range to their trade customers in an interactive and easily accessible way.
We looked at the entire range and planned out the products that make up each collection, before looking at how to create the interactive range training guide as straightforward as possible.
The search functionality within the ‘digital product chooser’ catalogue, which in addition to being quick, allows Ideal Standard’s customers to familiarise themselves with the Ideal Standard range in a simple and logical format.
We worked with the firm to create content that focuses on the benefits of each collection and product type, as well as the various forms of user interactivity like bookmarking important pages for later. User experience was also aided by helpfully categorising individual segments of the catalogue into their collections, clearly sign-posted with an intuitive navigation.
The smart asset management and categorisation allowed the Ideal Standard team to link up product collections with their associated products, which helped keep the workflow involved in making the catalogue interactive as simple, quick and straightforward as possible.
We also adhered to the company’s new brand content guidelines, which called for new content throughout all of their everyday ranges and collections.
The digital product chooser was deemed so successful, it was adapted into a printed brochure catalogue that was made available in bathroom showrooms and to bathroom installers.
This latest project for Ideal Standard comes off the back of many years working together with many projects developing integrated print and digital campaigns, including a creative consumer cashback promotion to help boost sales.
